At long last, Trust Central, our new installation in the lobby of the United States Pharmacopeia in Rockville, MD, has opened. Created under the guidance of archivist and historian Geeta Tirumalai, the artifact-rich exhibition celebrates USP’s 200 years of setting the standards that help build trust in medicines and supplements. Look for “USP” on the drugs you buy - it’s everywhere. In the US, we hardly think twice about the purity, safety, and efficacy of medicines, thanks in great part to USP. And they work every day to help other countries establish the same trust.
